Flagship Store New Balance, Madrid

New Balance is back in fashion, and recently the firm opened a new Flagship Store in Madrid. The store, located in the famous street Gran Via, has been equiped with Grupo MCI products.

For the general lighting Euro Spot 70W projector, for three phases rail track system, were used. Those projectors provide a warm atmosphere with different beam angles and its elegant design fits perfectly into the architecture of the store.

This type of adjustable projectors are very suitable for shops and commercial lighting spaces because of its high efficiency. To achieve different lighting effects in the same space, these projectors incorporate different optical options. Concentrate beam angles (15 °) for accent lighting or to highlight different architectural areas, or open beams angles (60º) to illuminate general spaces, wall washing effects, surfaces or elements of larger exposure.

Commercial lighting is very important to mark spaces, highlight products and offer to the customers a good visual comfort. A good indoor and outdoor lighting in the exhibition area, changing rooms and windows, can significantly affect the turnover of a business.

It may seem contradictory that a classical building will become the new headquarters of an urban brand. However, New Balance has over half a century of history. Its timeless and successful models have hardly changed for decades and although they are now a multinational, they operate as a small business: its headquartered is still based in Boston and manufacturing processes are concentrated in the United States and England.

Conceived as a space dedicated to running, the new store will feature a New Balance Health Food café, fitness facilities and changing rooms designed for runners.
