Plaza de San Andrés, Talavera de la Reina

The refurbishment of San Andrés Square, located in Talavera de la Reina (Spain), was just completed.

For redesigning the square the council held a competition, asking for different ideas. The winner proposal was submitted by Paula Calvo Fernández, an architecture student. Under the slogan 'San Andrex', this proposal combines the union of the church with two different neighborhoods of the town.

To illuminate the X, a very characteristic sign that cross the square, Ground Liner® in white was used. Ground Liner® made with aluminium body is a LED linear lighting fixture embedded in the ground, perfectly suitable for safety and decorative lighting of squares providing continuous and linear lighting effect.

The fully resined fixture offers a protection class IP 66/68, an impact resistance IK10 and supports a pressure on the fixture of 30kN.

Ground Liner® has a maximum of 80 LEDs/m. with 24V DC and a consumption of 15,36W for the white and warm white version, and 60 LEDs/m. with 24V DC and a consumption of 17,3W for the RGB version.
