La Tratto Península is an Italian restaurant that has been distinguished not only because of its gastronomical quality but also because of its contemporary eclectic design, which combines elements that create a warm, comfortable and contemporary environment. It is located in Prolongación Montejo, one of the most iconic avenues of Mérida, Yucatán.
 
Being a restaurant of La Tratto family, the idea was to bring together the elements that distinguish the restaurants, like the floor tiles and the combination of elements like wood and marble. These elements were applied in this new restaurant, but in a different and more creative way. Part of the concept was to create a warm, comfortable environment which is achieved, in an outstanding way, with the correct use of illumination and the material selection.

Finally, at night, the restaurant acquires a different atmosphere, still warm, but now intimate with the aid of illumination. The stage luminary's SLF PAR36, by SLV by Grupo MCI, placed on the ceiling create a great atmosphere and allow some elements to stand out, like the oven or the wooden jalousie. Thanks to illumination, the materials like marble, tiles and wood are seen in a different perspective.
